PetroBio has carried out several successful projects for Skanska, where we have converted asphalt plants from fossil fuels to renewable alternatives such as wood powder and bio-oil.

Our projects have included the installation of burners, fuel handling systems, and control systems tailored to the specific needs of each facility. In several cases, this has enabled more efficient combustion of bio-oil and thus better energy utilization.

The result has been a clear reduction in carbon dioxide emissions and an important step towards more sustainable asphalt production for Skanska. The collaboration has strengthened the relationship between our companies and demonstrates how technical expertise and climate ambitions can go hand in hand.
